The Magician and the Warrior

I originally was going for blue and red contrasts but... I didn't achieve it... XD Oh well, I was pressed for time (did this in 7 hrs D: ) because I wanted to have it available for NDK. I still had fun, but there are many things I'd like have done differently. I try to avoid profile shots, but unfortunately I rarely do them so Kurogane got stuck facing sideways...

What had originally inspired this was the urge to draw Fai's staff. XD
